Passfaces Verifies Both the User and
the Web Site
Helps Protect Users from Phishing
Attacks
Passfaces
offers Strong Authentication that verifies
users are, in fact, the person they claim to
be. But Passfaces' interactive verification
process takes authentication one step
further. Users must select their assigned
Passfaces from a grid of nine faces and only
a valid web site can present the proper
images. That verifies to the user that they
are at the correct, legitimate web site.
Interactive Verification
Passfaces goes beyond offering a simple
graphic for site verification. Most
Passfaces applications use from 3 to 5 faces
for authentication. Users verify the site
one time for each Passface assigned. And
since this verification takes place during
logon, it is interactive. If during any part
of the logon process the user is presented
with a grid not containing one of their
Passfaces, they know the site is not
legitimate.
