Uninstalling Passfaces
Normal Passfaces Personal
Removal
To remove Passfaces Personal from your computer please follow these
steps:

Open the Windows Control
Panel |
|
|
Click on Add or Remove
Programs |
|
|
Under
:currently Installed Programs” find and click on
“Passfaces Personal” |
|
|
Click on “Remove”
|
Once the removal is
completed, restart your computer.
Pre-Startup Passfaces Personal
Removal
WARNING: Only use this method if you are having problems
logging on or starting up your computer. Using Registry Editor
incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to
reinstall Windows. Passfaces cannot guarantee that problems
resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved.
Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
Turn on your computer pressing the F8 Function Key as the computer
starts up. This will bring your computer up in the “Safe Mode”.

Click on Start and Select
then click on “Run” |
|
|
Type in “regedit” and click
“OK” |
|
|
Follow the directions below to find -
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows NT/Current
Version/Winlogon/ GinaDLL |
|
|
Click on
the following folders in the order listed to find
GinaDLL |
|
|
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
Microsoft Windows NT
Current Version.
Winlogon
|
|
|
Find and
click on the file GinaDLL |
|
|
Click on
Edit in the Toolbar and select and click on “Delete” |
|
|
Click on “Remove”
|
|
|
Once the
file is deleted, restart your computer. |
